Mago Menla Integrative Sound Therapy / Original Breath Didjeridu / Certified Kemoma massage-energy healing / performing artist, performer/producer ACARA Mago Menla is a virtuoso didgeridoo player committed to inner work and meaningful work in his community.
As a Sound Healer he blends didjeridu with a range of instruments, ancient chant and electronic sound production. He has been playing the didgeridoo for over 24 years and has been connected with his indigenous mentors just as long, working as a promoter or collaborator both in Europe and Australia or just spending periods of time sitting on country and connecting deeper to the land and its people.
In Traditional Didjeridu areas his connections are mainly Rembarrnga and Mayili peoples (NT) and it is with the encouragement and blessings of these connections that he uses the didgeridoo in his work in the way he does. Some of his other mentors are Kaurna (SA), Yamitji and Kamilaroi.
Marco believes it's his reverence for people, country and culture and his devotion to the divine and the Path of growth and liberation that takes his didjeridu work to that place that people say they experience.
The connection in sound healing with his female Buddhist teacher Khandro Trinlay Chodon, a great Yogini and holder of the Divine Feminine, has been extremely empowering and has deepened his work significantly.
Marco has been involved with Sound Healing for18 years, on suggestion of one of his didjeridu teachers.
He has collaborated with yoga, breathwork, meditation, and other modalities to significantly enhance his understanding and skills.
He now offers a devotion and surrender based, integrated modality of breathwork, sound and basic meditation that has naturally evolved over two decades of learning, sitting, and breathing with his Indigenous, Tibetan Yogic and other teachers, to support people to find more balance, clarity and purpose in their lives.
